Transitioning to indoor kitty-hood
I've only had to squirt him with water a couple of times, and the poop incident this afternoon has been the only one thus far.
He seems pretty happy with all of the attention -- he's following us around like a puppy. (Seriously, he has been curled up at my feet since the girls went to bed.) I did think I was going to have to lock him in the bathroom this afternoon when he was running back and forth to the doors to meow and being followed by two shrieking girls.
Luckily they all got over it.
And you can't tell me this isn't the face of a happy kitty:
(Okay, you can. But seriously, he's rubbing up against my feet right now, sounding like a motorcycle.)
Also, he just peed in the litterbox. Yay!
Today.
I got a suprise visit from my dear auntie, so we didn't get to go to swimming today.
Adia had a fever, so we didn't get to go to Fredericksburg at all today.
She then cut her toe open on a piece of toy china that had broken this morning. (The one piece I managed to miss, of course.) Blood dripping-type cut.
She did that while I was cleaning out bowls for food and water to bring Crush inside permanently. Which I did after I cleaned her up and bandaged her toe.
He crapped on the floor while I was typing this. Floor is cleaned up and the bag he used to cover it is in the washer.
On the plus side, I got an A in statistics (100 on the final!)

Argh.. 2 year olds
Now I think I'm going to have to lock the bathroom, because she keeps going to use the big potty. She can't do that without help, and she doesn't want mine -- she wants Adia's. And she's running back to potty every 5 minutes. Her little potty is up here, she doesn't need help with it, and it requires no flushing (which she does everytime she sits on the big one regardless of whether or not she actually goes.)

Dear Britax,
However. You really need to come up with some design that allows for the removal of the cover that doesn't require Mama to get covered in whatever it was that necessitated removal of said cover.
Signed,
A covered-in-the-foulest-vomit-imaginable Mama

Vindicated
I just got an email now from another woman in the class looking for someone to scan in the workbook as she's lost her copy.
Uh-huh. Sounds like a familiar story, no? I can't wait to hear the response on this one.

2 years!
This time two years ago, I was laying in the bed taking a nap (which is a feat in and of itself at 10cm dilation), getting ready to get up and back into the pool.
Today, I have a big girl who just went pee in the potty, which is becoming less of a remarkable feat since it happens so often. She had pizza and cheese fries for dinner and a few bites of ice cream for dessert.
Pictures to come later!

Before and after
And one from the berry farm Saturday. :) Yeehaw!
NEWS!
Dentist did dance around the nursing issue, but meh whatever. Apple juice or soda easier on the tummy than breastmilk? Uh, ok.
Annnnnyway, they saved her teeth! Now just waiting on the nurse to ocme get us.
(This post took a ridiculous amount of time to type between excitement over the TEETH and cafffeine.)
No news is good news, right?
Also, I'm going to give myself whiplash from turning around anytime that surgery door is opened. ;P
Whenever they're done, the dentist is going to come talk to us about how it went. Then we get to go back to the room where we left her (or somewhere thereabouts) and wait for them to bring her to us. I wish we could be there when she wakes up, but I get the feeling they're damn efficient here and since they seem to be on top of their game, I'm willing to go along with it. (Seriously, if the nurse anesthetist hadn't been so reassuring, I probably wouldn't be down with this idea, but she really really was.)
Adia did well last night. Mom said she woke up to Adia yelling "Noooooo Grandma" at some point. She thought it was just a bad dream, but when she asked Adia about it this morning it was because Mom had rolled onto Horton. Whatever. Grandma can do no wrong, especially since she de-hid the great big balance ball to play with. They were watching PBS Kids when I called a little while ago, so I guess the big list of instructions I left worked. ;P
She's back
I thought I'd be updating from my cell, but it turns out that the entire world has internet now. Yay hospital.
We got here at 6 with a decently grumpy Checka. We did the paperwork and then got taken back by the nurse. The anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist came back and talked to us, as did the OR nurse. The dentist did too, and she gave me more hope that they'll save the teeth, so good thoughts, prayers, whatever would be good on that end. The NA reassured me that they care for them like their own, and Francesca didn't even cry when I handed her over. That helped a lot. She's tired and wanting to nurse, but at least the tiredness will be taken care of soon. Ha!
They had a pair of socks with grippies (which I had gotten a pair of last night at Tar-jay already, so she's double-wrapped haha) and a new stuffed koala with a hospital tee-shirt on.
I think I'm going to send Charles to the coffee corner here in a minute for food/drink. I'll pretend that I can eat, and if nothing else I can caffeinate myself and spaz more. I do technically have a cheese danish I got from the lobby at the hotel, but it's in the car. Along with my bio textbook to read, but.. um.. I forgot a highlighter. Yeah, that's it. No point in doing homework if I don't have the highlighter and I'll have to read it again.

In the hotel
I'm still really nervous, and being antisocial. If it seems like I've been ignoring people, I have. Once tomorrow is done, I think I'll be a lot better (or closer to whatever my normal is anyway.) But I need to get past it first. (Seriously, I wouldn't even talk to the cashier at the mall to get a box for the rest of Check's pizza.)
And now she's climbing up here, so I'm off to go snuggle with her and Charles.

In other news, she is 25 lbs and 33".
Oh, and I saw a SmartCar rolling down the highway on the way home. Very cool.
